This area focuses on firms planning to go public and aims to capture opportunities for capital participations by delivering all the support needed to expedite the IPO at advantageous conditions. Oak Capital typically creates the capital plan and provides strategic financial planning and other related support in exchange for an opportunity to participate in the investee's capital. In principle, Oak Capital does not engage in early-stage investments and rather attempts to manage and reduce risk to a minimum by concentrating on late to final-stage companies with an established track record. "PB Forum"* organized by Oak Capital has proven to be a highly effective stage for identifying and selecting IPO candidates among the participating member companies and continues to function as Oak Capital’s main stage for the pre-IPO investments.
